Solar Power Events and EZ-EV Partner for New EV Experience

Solar Power Events announced a partnership with EZ-EV, the leading authority in the world of EVs (electric vehicles). Together, this partnership will provide a renewed EV Experience at SPI, ESI, and North America Smart Energy Week, alongside select regional events within the Solar Power Events portfolio.

“We are pleased to partner with Solar Power Events to bring engaging and enlightening electric vehicle experiences to their events throughout the nation. These events will highlight the best practices in utility customer engagement and position Solar Power Events as a thought-leader in electric vehicles for years to come,” said Michael Kurzeja, Founder & CEO of EZ-EV.

Education is a vital component of the EV Experience, with panel sessions and show floor education focused on distribution system infrastructure, the EV customer journey, and investment opportunities. EV workshops are also featured on the agenda. EZ-EV in particular will be hosting an Electric Vehicle 101 workshop which will bring utilities, OEMs, and EV driver organizations together to discuss charging, rebates and incentives, the future of EV policy, and more.

Attendees won’t want to miss the popular Ride & Drive experience, making its return to SPI, ESI, and North America Smart Energy Week. EZ-EV is providing the electric vehicles for attendees to test drive outside the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Last year, over 20% of the 19,000 SPI, ESI, and North America Smart Energy Week attendees were interested in electric vehicles. Infrastructure needs are expanding as EV adoption continues to power forward. In 2019, attendees can explore electric vehicles and infrastructure businesses and organizations in and around the Smart Energy Marketplace + Microgrid.

SPI was recently honored for the ninth-consecutive year in a row at the Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit. It’s the largest energy event in North America and has been one of the 25 fastest growing trade shows for four years in a row.

Registration for SPI, ESI, and North America Smart Energy Week 2019, September 23-26 in Salt Lake City, Utah is now open. For more information, please visit www.smartenergyweek.com.
